What most Asian employers actually require
Language centres across Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and most Korean hagwons generally hire based on a bachelor's degree and an accredited TEFL certificate, without requiring you to have completed observed teaching practice beforehand. Your practical teaching experience effectively starts on the job, with orientation and mentoring covering the gap.
This is the standard, high-volume hiring path most first-time teachers in Asia go through, and it doesn't typically require a practicum component in your TEFL course.
